As the CEO of The Canmore Trust, I have been privileged to see Clare at work as a celebrant. In particular, she led an act of remembrance at the “Side By Side After Suicide” event in September 2024 in Glasgow Concert Hall. Despite the complexity of the grief evident at such an event, Clare led this with sensitivity and gentleness. Many of those attending remarked afterwards how meaningful the act of remembrance had been for them.
What stood out most was how Clare was able to blend both sincerity and light-heartedness, creating the perfect balance for our special day. She managed to make everyone feel included, and we received so many compliments from guests about how lovely the ceremony was.

Clare conducted an absolutely beautiful service for my dad. From the initial meeting right through to the delivery of the service, Clare made such an effort to put me at ease with her friendly, kind and sympathetic nature. She explained the format and running order of the service really well and took a tremendous amount of care and attention to listen to all my requirements which ensured everything ran really smoothly on the day. So many friends and family commented on the amazing job she did to deliver such a lovely service for my dad. I couldn’t recommend celebrant Clare Haworth more highly.
